The two day event focuses on developments affecting pipeline construction and protection in West Africa and is a premiere event for the award of Operational Licences in view of establishing Modular crude oil refinery, attracting an average of 3000-5000 attendees.
The theme of our conference is ‘“End oil theft and Sabotage, Save the Economy, Build Modular Refining, An Infrastructural-Economical development for Africa . And that seems an apt title, given the political solution proffered by the federal government and the fact that the activities of illegal oil refiners had affected the economy, hence the need for full implementation of the modular initiative to check the ugly trend.
Its our believe that With a thoughtful implementation and management of the modular refineries programme, the government can reduce unemployment, poverty, hunger in the Niger Delta Area and hault pipeline vandalism. The programme should be envisioned, enabled and well articulated in terms of legislation, budgeting, crude oil supplies, power supplies, private partnership initiatives and technical entrepreneurial professionals, to enable efficient production and transparent operation of these community oil refining.
