Editorial Policies

Many of you have asked about our editorial position. Although Petroleum News carries few editorials, we recognize the petroleum industry’s important role in the world’s economic and social structure.

In short, our objective is to be the only publication you need to read to keep up on what’s happening in the oil and gas industry in the Niger Delta Area of Nigeria and Nigeria at large. Our writers also keep an eye on what’s happening in the eighteen Member Countries namely, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Chad,Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa, Libya, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria and Sudan.Altogether, these countries account for virtually the totality of Africa’s oil and gas reserves and output.
